With the aid of a wax chart choose the proper wax for the
conditions. On a wood base ski 'apply a thin layer of wax
over the Pine -tar. Rub the wax out with cork Build the wax

plication is in the grip area (under the foot) which you
uncorked for maximum grip.
Synthetic base skis get maximum performance when a hot
glider is applied. This glide fills up the pores of the P.Tex.
The hard waxes are applied over this in the same manner as
on the wood skis.
Beginners may waX the synthetic ski in the grip area, but
only until they require better performance from their skis
The two colour wax system which is available. makes
waxing very easy for beginners. however some performon•
ce is sacrificed for convenience.
