Lions win
The Goderich Lions Pee
Wees managed to play one
hockey game between snow
storms last week. Wednesday
they travelled to Port Elgin
where they dumped the home
team 5-3 in a well -played
game. An exhibition game
Monday and a league game
here Thursday against
Listowel both had to be put off
because of weather con-
ditions.
The victory over Port Elgin
gives the Lions a record of
nine wins and two losses in
league play.
The line of Brad Arm-
strong, Mark Crawford and
David Gallow provided all the
scoring punch for the Lions.
Armstrong and Crawford
each scored twice and Gallow
got the other Goderich goal.
Gallow also collected three
assists as did Armstrong.
Philip Wood was credited
with two assists.
Doug Bartlett, Ken Windsor
and Bob Carr were the Port
-Elgin goal scorers.
Next action for the Lions
will be here tonight (Thur-
sday) at 8 p.m. when Kin-
cardine will supply the op-
position. In the only other
meeting between these two
teams this season, Goderich
came out on top 7-6 after
k-4
overcoming an early 9-0 should
Kincardine lead, so this game action.
