MacDonald spent the
weekend in Detroit with
relatives and friends.
Sympathy of the com-
munity is extended to the
family of Gordon Finlayson
wbo passed away on Friday
in Wingham Hospital after
suffering a stroke in Kin-
cardine earlier in the week.
Gordon had lived his entire
life in the Lochalsh com-
munity being one of a family
of thirteen who all had at-
trr/1rr1 1 nchalsh school. He
was laid to rest in Lochalsfl
cemetery on Monday.
In hospital in London are
Mrs. Edna Culbert and Mr.
Robt. Simpson.
The executive meeting of
the Ripley and District
Horticultural Society was
held Saturday afternoon in
Ripley at the home of Mrs.
