Hospital team 11-2. The key to the victory was Linda Bell as she showed her two male teammates Denis LeBrun and Jim Bell the correct way to curl. Despite being shorthanded, the Assessment threesome played a strong game allowing Ron. Klages' team only two ends and once again indicating that they are still the team to beat. Jack Kellough's Champion Plant team also remained undefeated as they fought off a late surge to gain a 8-4 victory over the Kinsmen Club. Fine shots and powerful sweeping were the order of the day as Charlie Crawford, "Broom" Profit and Glen Falkiner refused to give the Kinsmen a chance to recover from a shaky start.
