A reminder to all children
to get their free ticket for the
Fred Gee children's concert
being held at the Goderich
library branch. The songs
and stories begin at 2 p.m. on
Saturday, November 19. The
performance should be en-
tertaining. Come and have a
good time.
Walter Stewart's book
"Strike" provides a detailed
history of this labour
phenomena and its effect on
the Canadian economy.
Canada's record of some
9,000,000 lost man-hours per
year suggests that we should
closely study this problem
and its causes. This book
outlines the history of the
situation but offers few
solutions.
"A Population of One" by
Constance Beresford -Howe,
is the second in a series of
three novels by this author.
Set in Montreal, the book
relates the experiences of the
lonely Wilhelmina Doyle, a
university professor, in
search for self -acceptance.
If you are wondering what

week a couple of the newer
titles will be provided to help
you in your selection.
