.trs of the Jubilee Three plaque unveiling at the Goderich town hall
Y afternoon were perhaps a little high in their estimate of spectators
out to witness the event. Authorities kept parked cars off both sides
thiel itr'front of the town hall to accommodate a crowd that never
materialized. Premier William Davis was the star attraction at the un-
veiling and the small group that did show up took advantage of the situation
In chat with the premier after the ceremony. (staff -photo)
The historic celebrations Goderich enjoyed in 1977 are dutifully, recorded on this plaque at
the Goderich town hall. The plaque hardly captures the enthusiasm and fun the town
enjoyed during the Jubilee Three year but will help future generations understand what
their forefathers did in 1977. The plaque was unveiled by Ontario Premier William DAVIS.
