ItIoeze lost his first. However
both Doug and John have
proven to be strong com-
petitors and both players are
bound to pick up a lot of wins.
Phil Abbott found the going a
bit tough losing his first three
games. Steve Hammill got
rolling last week gaining his
first victory sjnce joining the
club.
In Level 1, Jim Kingsley
picked up his fourth and fifth
wins to take 'the club lead in
victories with five. Jim is
followed closely by Charles
MacDonald, Kirk Lyndon and
Don Bogie all having four

record for the most wins in a
season winning 45 of 46 in the
1973-74 season. Digging
through the records I have
found that Charlie holds a
tremendous 143 wins to four
losses record over the last
four years! Charlie has not
suffered a loss since the 1975-
76 play-offs when Dave
Weary won one of the three
games.
Sam Hassan moved back
up into the top level by
picking up a win and a draw
last week. Sam is one of four

won his game to move into a
tie with Dennis Little, who
picked up two wins, for the
lead in Level 2. Brian Miller
also moved up into the second
level with a win and a draw.
Brian is last year's Level 2
winner. Charlie Cook leaped
from the fourth level into the
second by winning both of his
games.
In Level 3 play a new
member, Steve Harding, won
