Teta explains how: he made this tea pot as his Beechwood pottery partner, Addy

Members are being forced to

legislation in about half the
time which is normally
allocated. Committees are
expected to meet throughout
the winter in an effort to
ensure that there will be
minimal carry-over into the
spring.
Round and About
Well, this week I have good
news and bad news the
good news is that someone
has finally come to the aid of
the floundering artist who
can't afford the exorbitant
prices for frames. The
professional artist buys his
own frames directly from the
source and has hundreds of
dollars tied up in them. ..but
they get them at a good price.
The dabbler and the Sunday
painter is not so lucky - until
now - when Lu and Jack
Shuman started a complete
custam frame service -
covering just any and
everything that should be
framed.
Their shop, The Palette and
Brush, on The Square is a
very attractive place. Lu - a
very talented artist - is there
to , help you choose your
supplies and Jack, that genial
guy who always takes time to
speak to you, will take care of
framing and other needs
RIGHT NOW ! Great service!
The bad news is that at 3
a.m. I let Mr. Cat out and
there was an inch of snow
covering everything. When
next I looked out the snow
was all gone, but it is still bad
news.
I imagine a good many of
you who drive out highway 8
have never noticed that there
is a very fine little clothes
shop next to that new little
park. It is in the gas station
building (next to the IN and
OUT store) and the gas
station is no more. It has a
nice little coffee shop where
the truckers and the folks
from the businesses at that
end of Huron Road
congregate for their breaks
and lunches and they swear
they get the best home made
soups and other food you can
find anywhere. They have one
of the most modern kitchens
in town.
The couple who own this big
triangle are a very hard-
working .pair who are con-
scientious enough to want
people to say nothing but good
about their establishment.
They: have built up a good
reputation for their little
restaurant and now they have
established a clothing shop in
the rest of the building. Willy

have a cup of coffee with
Phyllis and discuss your
clothing likes and dislikes -
and NEEDS. Find out first
hand what this little lady can
do for you - and your
pocketbook (Anytime of the
day and week BUT lun-
chtime, please) Because
Goderich is often, called the
Circle City they have named
their establishment "Circle
City Clothing Shop". I like it -
so will you.
1 just heard of a place
where you can get the best all
meat sausage in town. Now
that's hard to get, but this
lady tells me at Rollie's Meat
Market - formerly Ainslies'.
Doug makes his own from an
old Mennonite recipe. Doug
himself says it is all the best
of meat, not a lot of seasoning
and no added fat. In fact my
friend said she was surprised
to have to add Mazola to the
pan and it was delicious. So
my dieting friends you can
have some nice sausage now
that's not so fattening. So go
in and meet Doug and try his
great sausage. And, too,
you'll find lots of other
goodies there.
Well, now you need to get
your fall work done in the
garden before it freezes up.
Art's Landscaping has his
bulbs in for fall planting and
beautiful spring flowers. I
don't know what the win -

the same at your home.
Here is a phone number for

THAT?
If, you need transportation
you can get that too! No need
