Wed at Benmiller Unit.ed Ghurch Candelabras with bronze daisies, yellow gladioli and white streamers decorated Benmiller United Church on September 10 at 3 p.m. for the wedding ceremony of Yvonne Marie Willis of R.R. 4 Goderich and' Stephen Richard Haggitt of Auburn. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Willis of R.R. 4 Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Haggitt of Auburn. The Reverend John Wood of Goderich officiated at the double ring ceremony. Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. L. Warr who sang Sunrise, Sunset, Wedding Prayer and We've Only Just Begun. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She wore a polyester ?satin gown featuring a hood and long medieval sleeves. The -gown had a self attached train and pearl lace around the collar, sleeves and hood. The bride carried abouquet of yellow roses, white daisies and baby's breath. Maid of honor was Mary Ellen Sttirdly of R.R..2 Goderich, friend of the bride. She wore a light green and yellow polyester crepe dress featuring a V-neck collar, short sleeves and empire waist. She carried a basket of bronze daisies and mums. . Bridesmaids were Connie Willis of R.R. 4 Goderich, sister of the bride and Carolyn Porter of Kitchener, friend of the bride. They were dressed identically to the maid of honor and carried the same flowers. All wore silver bracelets, sl gift of thehr•ide rind groom, Flower girl was Tracey Fisher of Zurich, cousin of the bride. She was dressed the same as the bridesmaids. Groomsman was George Collins of Auburn, friend of the groom. Ushers were Ron Willis of R.R. 4 Goderich, brother e of thh groom. The groom wore la light green tuxedo and his attendents wore light green jackets, dark green pants, vests and bow ties. Gregory Haggitt of R.R. 1 Woodman, nephew of the groom, was ringbearer. Following the wedding ceremony, a dinner and reception was held at Saltford Valley Hall. The tables were decorated with brandy sniffers holding daisies. For a wedding trip to Niagara Falls, the bride changed to grey slacks, a black and white striped blouse and black velvet jacket with a corsage of red roses. Mr. and Mrs. Haggitt will reside at R.R. I Auburn: Prior to the wedding the bride was feted at a com- munity shower in Benmiller, a shower held by Jane Haggitt of Woodham, one held by Marilyn Drehmann of Goderich and one held by Mary Ellen Sturdy of Goderich. Couple live in London home Baskets of red gladioli and white daisies decorated the White Carnation in Holmesville for the wedding of Valerie Grace Clutton of Goderich and Thomas Arseen Van Hende of St. Thomas on September 17 at 4:30 p.m. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs, Dougall Clutton of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arseen Van Hende of St. Thomas. The bride and groom exchanged vows and rings in a homey setting in front of the fireplace at the White Carnation. Mr. Jack Kost of the World Wide Church of God in London officiated at the ceremony. Soloist Wanda Linner sang There is Love and Evergreen. Music for the ceremony and accompaniment for the soloist was pianist Malcom Crawford.. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose a formal gown in organza and alencon lace with attached chapel train. bishop sleeves and a high neckline of soft accordion pleated fluting. Accordion pleated fluting outlined the alencon and pearl bib and edged the cuffs. A deep band of matched accordion fluting en- circled the hemline and formed a deep V in the chaper train. She wore a spring'green A-line floor length gown. She wore three yellow daisies in her hair and carried yellow daisies with white miniature carnations and baby's hreath. Bridesmaids were Kathy Bromley of Blyth and Brenda Clutton of Goderich. Their dresses and flowers were identical to the matron of honor's dress and flowers. Flower girl was Penny Clutton of Goderich. She alwo wore a spring green A-line floor length gown with three yellow daisies in her hair. She carried a tiny basket of yellow daisies with white miniature carnations and baby's- breath. Groomsman was Dean Wilcox of St. Thomas. The ushers were Jesse Van Hende of St. Thomas and .Tim Van Hende of St. Thomas. The groom wore a tuxedo of cream and brown with a red rose boutonniere. The groomsman and ushers wore tuxedos of cream and brown with yellow carnation boutonnieres. Following the wedding ceremony, a reception was held at the White Carnation.. The bride's mother greeted guests in a pink gown with accordion pleats and pink sheer cape. She wore a.white orchid corsage, -The groom's mother chose a soft yellow figured gown with a yellow sheer cape and a purple orchid corsage, Mr. and Mrs. 'Van Hende took a wedding trip to Florida. They will.reside in London, Ontario.
