Last weekend was surely
one of the busiest of the
season. Wo 't you know it
would be the weekend they'd
choose to have the non-stop
Parade of Stars to raise
money for our many multi -
handicapped people. I believe
every town and village in this
part of Ontario took part in
this worthwhile project.
CKt1VX, Wingham and hun-
dreds of volunteers stayed up
all nite„ waiting for that one
extra pledge to put the drive
over the top. I know they
made over $190,000.00 and the
last few hours were most
exciting. At one point
$1,000.00 a minute carne in to
thrill everyone.
Both groups of Beta Sigma
Phi Sorority handled the
Goderich area raising about
$2,500.00. Pat and hubby Bob
Spence with son John con-
trolled things from beginning
to end and I think we owe
them a big vote of thanks,
DRMCO, of course, helped
with the use of their facilities
and I think everyone who took
part in this drive can think of
dozens who deserve a special
"Thank You". There is a
special "God Bless!" for
everyone who sent in a pledge

The 20 week ADVANCED CARPENTRY course is for per-
sons who have completed a basic course or have had car-
pentry work experience.
