Candelabras with pink gladioli and white daisies
,adorned Benmiller United Church for the wedding
ceremony of Lori Beattie and Brad Vanstone on Sep-
tember 9 at 6:30 p.m.
The bride is the daughter of Harry and Adrienne
Beattie of Goderich and the groom is the son of Verdun
and Lois Vanstone of Benmiller,
The Reverend J. Wood officiated at the double ring
ceremony. Betty Wilkin sang Morning Has Broken.
Evergreen and.O Perfect Love accompanied on the piano
by Darlene Jewell.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She
wore a gown of polyester organza styled with a chapel
train and featuring an empire waist accented by ap-
pliqued guipure lace. The lace also adorned the man-
darin neckline and sleeves, The flowing skirt was ac-
cented by the lace forming a scalloped effect. The bride's
veil flowed from a Juliet cap trimmed With lace and seed
pearls. She carried a cascade of pink roses, white car-
nations and baby's breath,
Matron of honor was Judy Sinclair of Palmerston,
sister of the pride. She wore a long gown and jacket of
polyester satapeace in a soft shade of pink. Thc jacket
which had long straight sleeves, tied in the middle front
of the empire waist. The gown featured a long floating
skirt. The matron of honor carried, a nosegay of white
daisies, pink carnations and baby's breath.
.Bridesmaids were Vicki Beattie of Goderich, sister of
the bride and Vicki Culbert of Dungannon, sister of the
groom. They were dressed identically to the matron of
honor. They also carried nosegays of white daisies, pink
rarnntion,; and baby's breath.

Flowcrgirl was Jackie Vanstone of Benmiller. She was
dressed similar to the bride in a gown, of polyester
org.ulta. She carried a basket of white d 'isies, pink
carnations and baby's breath.
Groomsman was Bob Vanstone of Benmiller.,Ushers
were Ross Caslick of London and [3i11 Vanstone of Ben -
miller. Joey Curran of Dungannon was ringbearer.
Following the wedding ceremony, a social hour was
held at the Remitter Inn. This was followed by a
reception at Saltford Valley Hall.
The bride's mother greeted guests in a two piece gown
of polyester jersey in a delicate shade of mint green. She
w ore 0 corsage of yellow roses.
The groom's mother chose a coral colored gown with
.10 accordion pleated skirt accented with a coat top, She
wore a corsage of baby blue stephanotis surrounding a
white rose.
lcir a wedding trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls, the
bride changed to a dress of brown jersey with a corsage
or yellow roses:
Rlr. and Mrs. Brad Vanstone reside at R.R. 2 Clinton.
Prior .to the wedding the bride was feted at several
showers. The Royal Bank staff gave a shower in the
bride's honor at the home of Suzanne Anderson. A shower
was given for the bride's girlfriends at the h6imeof Mary
Willis. Ruth and Bonnie Erb held a shower on behalf of
the bride's neighbors. A shower was held for the bride's
rclativs- by Linda Curran and Cheryl Stewart. A
girlfriend shower was held by Brenda McClinchey. A.
shower for the groom's relatives was held by Vicki.
