in Winnipeg
Marriage vows were exchanged on August 27 at 5 p.m.
in Westworth United Church in Winnipeg, when Judith
Lee„ daughter of Mr. and Mrs. -W. A. R. Johnston became
the bride of Larry Wayne, son of Mrs. Helen Anderson of
Winnipeg, formerly of Goderich.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. She
wore a floor length gown of white satin and carried a
bouquet of daisies and carnations.
Maid of honor was Barbara Johnston. Janice Johnston
and Joanne Anderson were bridesmaids. They all wore
identical blue gowns and carried bouquets of white
daisies with tinted carnations.
Groomsman was Robert Norton. Ushers were Joe
Gregoire and Bill Johnston.
Following the wedding, a reception was held at the
International Inn where Dr. Fred McNally was called
upon to say Grace. A toast to the bride was prepared by
Mr. Arnold Taylor.
After a wedding trip to the United States, Mr, and Mrs.
Anderson took up residence in Winnipeg.
Out of town guests attending the wedding were Mrs.
Hazel Thom of Goderich, William Garnier and children
Darcy, Chris, Kerry and Peter of London, Ontario and
Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hawley of Pinawa, Manitoba.
Prior to the wedding, the bride was feted at three
showers. Hostesses were Mrs. Arnold Taylor, Mrs. Chris
Barton and her co-workers. The groom was honored at a
stag organized by the best man and ushers.
Following the wedding rehearsal, the groom's mother
entertained at her home.
Pro -Liffe conference
has two_ workshops

Life Conference was held at
St., Thomas at the St. Anne
Community Centre on
Saturday, September 24. It
was attended by many
delegates representing the 28
Pro Life groups in South West
Ontario.

present issues.
Afterwards the delegates
split up to attend two
workshops. One was on
Natural Family Planning
weld presented by a
registet nurse. The other
was on sex education in the
schools presented by the Rev.
Ken Campbell of Milton."
After a buffet lunch,
Professor Ian Hunter of the
issues affecting R ight to -Life.
His talk was well received by
the delegates and included
much debate or), the- issues
Professor Hunter raised.
The next meeting will be
held in Brantford with details
to be announced later.

Knox wedding
Knox Presbyterian Church was nicely decorated with
white flower arrangements for the wedding ceremony of
Danniel Wayne Grafton and Janice Lynn Hicks, both of
Goderich. The ceremony took place oh September 23 at 3
p.m.
The bride is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Stuart Hicks of Parkhill, Ontario and the groom is the.son
of Mr. and Mrs. Toni Grafton of Lucknow, Ontario.
The Reverend G. I.. Royal conducted the double ring
ceremony. Organist Bill Cameron provided the music for
the ceremony.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother Larry
Hicks of Norwich, Ontario. She wore a white A-line gown
with empire waist featuring ascoop neckline with inset
sheer netting, short puffed sleeves and a frilled bottom
with flowered trim. She carried a bouquet of pink daisies,
baby's breath and ribbon streamers.
Matron of honor was Linda Brak of Dungannon. She
wore a long blue sleeveless V-neck dress and a flowered
nylon -jacket with long sleeves. She carried a bouquet of
white daisies with yellow baby's-breath. '
Bridesmaids were Beverly Procter of Goderich and
Kathy Tedball of London. They were dressed the same as
the matron of honor and carried bouquets of a.vhite
daisies with blue baby's breath.

were Jim Gemmill of Goderich aftd Robert Brak.
Following the wedding, a .reception was held at the
Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Goderich.
For a wedding trip to Hamilton, the bride changed to
beige dress pants with a dark brown turtleneck sweater
and blazer.
Mr. and Mrs. Grafton' will reside at R.R. 3 Goderich-
(Port Albert).
