Programming on channel 12 is a
oV venture., Despite the fact that a
studio and equipment have been available to the h6 a special introductory show to introduce the
public for public programming little use has people involved in the program and 'inform Om
been made of the facilities. The programming audience of their upcoming shows,
has been infrequent and sporadic, but now that Both Ronnie and Ron are optimistic ,ibout the

many people will tune in and watch because they
like to see a familiar face on television and it
should catch on.
McIntosh added that successful community
programming depends on the number of pcople
who are behind it, and suggested that not only
the technical aspects of the shows but also the
content would he improved if more people were
involved.
Ronnie hopes to keep the program on a lighter
note so everyone involved ra n be relaxed hut the
group will not lose sight of the serious sides of
discussions.
"We would like to keep these programs on a
lighter side and make it a fun thing hut as 0

Ronnie, a dynamic supporter of the Goderich
United Socter club, made use of the . cable
television studio facilities to host a show that
featured interviews with several players from
the United team. The show was successful and
initiated the concept of regular programming.
She talked over the idea with Ron McIntosh of
Bluewater Cable and now wilj, act as program co-
ordinator for the community station.
"I don't know if it women's intuition or ar-
thritis but it is a good feeling," she said. "The
facilities and equipment were here and if the
people were interested then I thought we should
give it a whirl."
McIntosh pointed out that the studio and
related facilities have been available for almost
four years but have seen limited use. He said
$25,000 has been invested in equipment that has
'good functions if the people want to use it.
Ronnie then 'lined up the help she needed and
built the programs around them. Aside from the launched into a new era of local television
show personalities, several volunteers are also Programming this fall, programs that will un-
