position to the B.D.'s. The
Dogies grabbed five from the
B.D.'s to boost their season
effort to nine while the B.D.'s
are third best with an 11 point

Five members of the GDCI tennis team won gold medals at
the Huron' -Perth tennis championship held in Stratford. The
winners include Margaret Hill, Tom Fincher, John Brown,
Margaret Conlon and Jim Costello. Fincher and Brown
teamed up to win the boys soloubles championship.Conl
took the girls crown and Hill and Costello won the mix

Heavy rain took its toll this
past weekend causing a
postponement of Buffy's
motocross at Hully Gully.
This marks only the second
time in the five years of
motocross racing that the
promoters at Hully Gully
have been forced to postpone
an event.
The rescheduled date will
be this Thanksgiving Sunday
October 9 at 12 noon with a
full race card as well as the
one hour (25 Lap) Endurance
Race and a special Pee Wee
division for the eight to eleven
year olds.
Sunny skies are expected
for this Thanksgiving
weekend and competitor and
spectator alike are invited to
make it a weekend of family
fun and enjoy the colourful
Huron County Autumn leaves
as well as the Buffy's
Motocross action at Nulty
Gully.
