Walter Heeney (left), Red Kelly (middle) and Red Storey were three of the celebrities on hand Friday night at the Lions Club Sports Celebrity Dinner to raise money for the Goderich Memorial Arena. Heeney is the 1977 Canadian Championship bowler, Kelly is a former NHL player and coach and Storey is a former NHL referee. Johnny Brent and Judy Savoy acted as emcees for the night. About 220 tickets were sold, down from 240 sold last year. Profit from the dinner was estimated at $4,100 and the money will go to help pay for the Lions Club pledge of $31,000 toward the new half -million dollar arena.
