spoof, 1 don't think it is titled

Anyway, it is a wonderful
piece of nonsense, a Canadian

Seniors' housing
• from page 10A
there are 4,000 senior citizen
units under construction.
Mrs. McHale said that a
good site must be chosen and
that the apartments must be
designed for independent,
active living. Probably one of
the first considerations to
accepting an apartment was
that you are able to remain
part of your own community.
"It is true that you have left
old homes, but not old
friends" said Mrs, McHale,
"and you remain part of the
community and this is as
important for the community
as it is for you. Freedom from
cutting grass, shoveling.snow
and other house maintenance
gives you more independence
rather than less, and the rent
scale protects you against
high rents, providing you with
a greater degree of economic
dependence."
Mrs. McHale then, on
behalf of Hotising Minister
. John Rhodes, the people and
Government .of Ontario of-
fered her best wishes for
continued good health and
happiness and presented a
lovely coffee urn to Mrs.
Beulah Sn)ith who accepted
