Arthritis funds reach high
Bill Wark, president of the
Goderich branch of The
Arthritis Society, reports that
the recent society campaign
for funds under the chair-
manship of Marg Craig
produced a total of $2,838.59,
$529.54 more than last year's
total.
This money will be applied
to the Society's programs
which include expanding and
improving services for the
diagnosis, tr-eatment and
rehabilitation and welfare of
those who suffer from ar-
thritis; to provide -patients^
and the public with factual
information about arthritis
and its treatment and to
sponsor programs of
research and professional
education in the rheumatic
diseases to discover the cause
of arthri&js and methods of
prevention.
Marg Craig wishes to thank
the many captains and
volunteers. who helped in the
campaign.
