The Goderich and Area Ostomy Group
held its meeting on Monday, September 26.
The speaker was Mr. Allan Porter the UOA
United 'Ostomy Association( Coordinator
for the North East Region. He spoke on
what the UOA can do to help local Ostomy
Chapters and the many other vital services
it provides. The services include many
things such as publications for ostomy
rehabilitation, educational 'programs for
people with ostomies, for the medical and
nu rsing.profession and for the community.
The group is pleased to announce that Dr.
D. Walker of Goderich has agreed to be its
medical advisor, He attended this meeting
and spoke briefly to the group.
The first executive meeting is to be held
on Wednesday October 5, 7;30 at 258 Albert
Street in Clinton. Anyone • interested is
