were filled for the 56 per-
formances. Several hundred''
youngsters attended the four
show's brought in for children.
Murphy said it wars too
early to know exactly how the
Playhouse fared financially
but is anticipating at' break
even budget for the year.
Murphy continued, "It was
a good steady year. The years
of hard work are beginning to
pay off, We will he looking at
more two week runs fur next
season.'
He c ncluded, "We. tviJ1
offer a nine week program
next year with the same
number of shows, six in all."

Six generations of the
descendants of the late
George and Mary Raithby,
pioneer1,settlers of the -Auburn
area, came from all direc-
tions to Dorchester.on August
27 for their family reunion at
the home of Mr. and Mrs.
Lloyd Raithby, They
welcomed all to their
beautiful home and local
park. Registration began 'at
11 a.m. followed by an old
fashioned family' picnic
basket dinner with Mrs. Edna
Raithby of London and Mrs.
Fi ank Raithhy of Auburn in
charge. -
Swimming in the pool,
shuffleboard, tug of war, log
cutting, weight guessing and
other contests were enjoyed,.
Many exchanged photos and'
the family tree was updated.
Mr. and Mrs. Ken Petrie of
Kincardine were in charge of
this,
Mr. Earl .Raithby of
Goderich was the oldest
person there and ,Sarah,
daughter of Rev. and Mrs.
Franklin Morgan of Toronto
was the youngest. Mr. and
Mrs. Paul Raithhy of Scar-
boro were top prize winners.
Mary Jane and Susan Raith-
by of Collingwood, daughters
of Mr, and Mr's. @rant Raith-
hy, entertained with a baton ,
demonstration.
Tribute was paid to the
achievement of several
family members with special
recognition made to Mr.
George Elwin Raithby of
Guelph who was named to the
Hall sof Fame recently for his
outstanding contribution in
the field of agriculture.
At 5 p,m. the happy group
left for their homes after a
'short devotional reading from
Mary Raithhy Veltman's
weekly column in the
Tillsonhprg News.
