KEVIN MERIAM U.S. honeymoon St. Georges Anglican church was beautifully decorated on August 20 at 3 p.m. for the wedding service when Pamela Daisy Craven became the bride of Kevin James Meriam. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and. Mrs. William Craven of 169 West Street in Goderich. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Meriam of 219 Strang Court of Goderich. The Re\ W.R. Craven, brother of the bride, officiated at the double ring ceremony. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her gon was of white chiffon and_featu.red.fine lace panels,. ---high---neekltne, -empire waistline and long sleeves- with " frills that fell over her hands. Her veil was silk illusion trimmed with white lace daisies and a Juliet cap. Both dress and veil had a long formal train. She carried her white prayer hook, decorated with a white orchid: The maid of honor was Patrice Craven, sister of the bride. She wore a floor length dress of swiss dotted floral chiffon. The gown featured an empire waistline and capped sleeves. • The bridesmaids were Tally Senyk of North Bay, cousin of the bride; Cheryl Meriam, sister of the groom; and Kris Mailiet• friend of the bride. All wore long gowns of yellow silk jersey and yellow straw picture hats. Kerry Leigh Craven, niece of the bride, was the little flower girl. She wore a dress similar to the maid of honor. They all carried white baskets of daisies. Groomsman was Ronald Sowerby, friend of the groom. The ushers were Mike Cummings, friend of the groom, Don Kirkconnel, friend of the groom ,and\' Keith Howes, cousin of the bride. The ring bearer was Shaun Nigh, nephew of the groom. Following the wedding, a, dinner was held at the Bedford Hotel. A reception followed at the Goderich Legion Hall with entertainment by Chris Black and his Swinging Brass. The bride's mother greeted guests in a yellow floral chiffon dress. She wore a corsage of Talisman roses. The groom's mother wore a dress of floral blue chiffon with a corsage of yellow roses. For a wedding trip to Payco Mountains, U.S.A., the bride.changed into a navy and, white striped dress. She wore a white orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Meriam will reside at 362 Won- derland Road in London. Prior tt) the wedding the bride was feted at showers given by Miss Rita Hazell, Patrice Craven and Miss Cheryl Meriam. LARRY ERVIN SILLERY (PHOTO BY FRANK PHILLIPS) Live in Goderich St. George's Anglican church in Goderich• was the scene for a pretty August wedding when Larry Ervin Sillery and Pauline Vollick both of Goderich exchanged vows. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Vollick of Goderich and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ervin Sillery of RR 1 Brucefield. Thee°Reverend Robert J. Crocker officiated at the traditional ceremony which took place at 6:30 pm on August 27. Music for the ceremony was provided by organist Mr. J.B. Herdman and soloists Mr. and Mrs. Warren Robinson. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a long white dress which featured a high neck and long sleeves of sheer nylon over net and taffeta. A long train veil fell from the large brim hat she wore. She carried red roses and stephanotis. Maid of honor vas Barb Shelton of Goderich. Bridesmaids were Miss Nancy Martin of Seaforth and Miss Eileen Vollick of Goderich. The bride's attendants wore long coral polyester dresses trimmed with lace. Atl' wore Targe brimmed hats trimmed with floral polyester matching the dresses of the flower girls. They carried nosegays of miniature coral carnations and daisies. Flower girls were Miss Jenny Light and Miss Corrinne Menace. They were dressed alike in long floral polyester gowns. They carried nosegays like those of the bridesmaids and each wore a daisy in her hair. Groomsman was Bill Snowden of Lucknow. Ushers were David Denomme of Goderich, Bill Martin of Seaforth, Robert Eddy of Seaforth and Ken Pethic of Sea forth. . Following the wedding, a reception was held at San- ford Valley Hall. Music at the reception was supplied by Midnight Express. For a wedding trip to Sault Ste. Marie, the bride changed to a two piece green print palazzo pant set made of polyester double knit. It featured a fashionable mandarin collared jacket and a self tie belt. Guests from a distance present at the wedding were relatives from Newfoundland, Ottawa, Toronto, Seaforth, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener, Waterloo, Burlington, Mildmay and Hanover. -- Prior to the wedding gifts were on display at the home of the bride's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Sillery will reside in Goderich..
