Unit 1 reactor start up was carried out on December 17, 1976 and this unit supplied first electrical energy to the system on January 14, 1977. The two units to date have delivered to the Ontario Hydro power system some 4,212,500 megawatt hours. First on power fuelling of Unit 2 was carried out on February 10, 1977 and to date some 220 channels have been refuelled with 1,405 fuel bundles. On August 10, 1977 first fuelling of Unit 1 oc- curred and to dale 16 chan- nels have been refuelled.
