St. Petersburg General Hospital in Florida, on August 13, 1977 in his 79th year. He was born in Auburn, August 25, 1898 to 'the late Robert E. and Hilda (Pearson) Rutledge. Later he moved to Detrit" where he was employed and resided for several years prior to moving to Florida. He is survived by his wife, Maudie (Thompson); one son, Eugene of St. Peter- sburg; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild, predeceased by another sister, Mrs. Everett (Verna) Taylor. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 17 from Maney-Burrell and Turowski Funeral Home in Livonia, Michigan with in- terment in Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Pallbearers were Ben Graham and Gerald Fisher of Goderich; Donald Young of Farmington, Michigan and Frank Swantz of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. • MEMORIALS.
