Bowler protest withdrawn
Little Bowl withdrew an
official protest in a game

dumped the Birds 5-3 in
Industrial league action

Fisher that base runner Dave
Patterson get one base on an
overthrow rather than one
and one which would have
allowed him to score. Pat-
terson was retreating to
second when the errant throw
was made and the umpires
allowed him one base..
The Bowlers jumped to a 2-

got on with a fielder's choice
and scored when Glen
Falkiner ripped a home run.

scoring on a single by Bill
Chisholm. Patterson had a
stand up double and was
headed for third when he
s.potted centre fielder Jim
Martin trying to gun him
down. Patterson stopped and
in the opinion of the umpires
was headed back to second
when Martin's throw went out

one and one, third and home,
but the ump's ruling was
third base. The call had, no
bearing on the outcome as
Chisholm singled him in.
Chisholm then scored the
winner on a double by Mark,
