Sunset Golf Course. There are

G.B. Club donates to children's ward
The Circle City C.B. Club
held it's monthly meeting in
the Vimy Lounge of the
Goderich Legion Hall on
Sunday, August 14th.
Following roll- call and a
special welcome to guests
that evening the Secretary's
and Treasurer's reports'
were read. "Peppe' -2-
Shoes", Walt Watts was
accepted as the club's newest
Director, joining "Curly
Carrott", Jim Sanders.
Project "Jeff (an 11 -year
old boy who lost both his
hands in an accident last
winter) is now underway and
a membership crest and QSL
package will be forwarded to
him through the Windsor
Shrine Club. "Mr. Rocky,a'
Roy Kaminska will be in
charge of posting signs at
town entrances stating the
channel' monitored by the

"Blue. Angel" gave the
Social Club report which
covered the presentation of a
plaque and cheque for the
"Childrens Ward" at
"Alexandra , Marine and
General Hospital", .donated
August 15.
Volunteers were asked to
come forward and offer their
services for the upcoming car
wash planned for September
17. Promotion was also
started for the club dance at
Saltford Valley Hall. by
"Southern Comfort" on
December 10 1977. "Uncle

letter of thanks from Mr.

This weekend, the Goderich
Sail Club • hosts the annual
'`Champion;t Road Grade t
Keel boat -sailing rega a.
Some 30 boats, ranging in size
from 22 feet to as large as 40
feet are expected to compete
in the day -long event this
Saturday.
George Robertson, Com-
modore of the .Goderich Sail
Club, expects boats from
Bayfield, Grand Bend and
Sarnia, as well as most of the
local boats to compete. The
course will be a triangular
one some 20 miles in length,
with starting and finishing
lines just north of the harbour
mouth. Start time will be 10
a.m. Saturday August 20th.
