Dear Editor:
I am writing to you on
behalf of, the Blyth Summer
Festival. For the first time
since our conception, three
years ago, we are able to.
offer membersI ips to those
who, we hope, might be in-
terested in being ,part of our
growth.
We would like to offer four
different, classifications for
you to consider; a general
membership of $10. a sup-
porting membership of $25.
' an associate membership of
4507-- and a patron mem-
bership of $100. or more.
All those with memberships
would receive advance
mailings of our brochure,
first choice of tickets, a vote
at the annual meeting to help
Choose the board of directors,
an invitation to the annual
membership night, a
membership card and a
discount on ticket prices. We
would also like to be able to
offer an area in the lobby for
members to display their own
brochures. Both the associate
members and the patrons
would have their names listed
in the program.
Being part of this coma
munity has always been a
conscious aim of the Blyth
Summer Festival. We try to
produce the type of en-
tertainment that will not only
make our business run
smoothly, but that which may
also be a source of pride for
the area.
We hope that what has been
conceived as a meaningful
attempt.to•unite a community
and a young Canadian theatre
troupe will continue to
prosper and grow. We also
hope that you might consider
us to be worthy of your in-
terest, and, exciting • enough
for you to be apart of.
If you have any questions
you would like answered or
inquiries to make, or, if you
have any suggestions that
might help us in the future
please call me at 523-9300 and
I, or any member of our
company would be pleased to
speak with you. _If you would
like to take out a membership
in any of the categories I
mentioned, our address is
Box 291, Blyth, Ontario - we
would be honored to hear
from you.
Thank you for your time
and consideration.
Sincerely,
' Kate Ti -otter,
Administrative assistant,
Blyth Centre for the Arts
Thanks
Dear Editor,
We were one of the for-
tunate couples to be picked
"Tourist of the Weer" in your
town of Goderich.
May I say we enjoyed the
hospitality of Gus, plus the
guided tour by Sandy.
Our gracious hostess Mrs.
Jean Adams was most con-
siderate, and a special thanks
to Miss Walters and Mr.
Campbell.
This was not our first trip to
Goderich, but hope to have
many more.
We felt honored to be able
to share Jubilee 3 with you
and wish the committee
every success in the future.
Goderich can be proud of
the fine marina ac-
commodation which we so.
enjoy.
Sincerely yours
Addie Nield

Value Job
Here's a tip from the
Ontario Safety League that
may save you an unexpected
valve job: After a long run at
high speed, let the engine idle
for 3 or 4 minutes before
shutting off the ignition.
Exhaust valves can warp if
the engine is shut off before
they have a chance to tran-
sfer their excess heat to the
block.
