Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Union local 2222 at their
annual dinner and dance held in Goderich on Saturday night. Back row left

Proud grandparents, Gerry

Harriet Boon of Jamestown gave a weaving demon-
stration to campers at Point Farms Provincial Park on
Sunday. The park was seething with activity for the
holiday weekend. On Saturday night a barn dance at the
park attracted about 225 campers. Also on Saturday a
newly reconstructed fitness trail at the park was of-

Kerr to deliver J8,000 cubic,,
yards of pit run gravel and
1,000 yards of crushed gravel
at its last meeting. Kerr's
price for the gravel was 59
cents a yard for pit run and 65
for crushed. Six tenders were
received for the job. Radford
bid 64 cents and 79 cents; G.
Jacques bid at 70 and 80,
Merner at 74 and 90; Heard at
85 and qne dollar and Silver
Fox at 68 and 75. The tender is
subject to Ministry of
Transportation and Com-
munication approval.
In other business council
instructed clerk Robin
Thompson to advise the
residents of B)uewater Beach
that a buildiriig permit would
be granted to put a roof on a
recreation pad provided
certain stipulations were
made. The residents at the
beach asked if a roof could be
erected to cover a recreation
pad and council agreed
provided the roof be set back
15 feet from the roadway and
that the building not be sided.

council to submit a petition to

accepted the petition and
referred it to the necessary
authorities and to C. B.
