The bride was attended by, matron of honor, Mrs. Uta L'Heureua, of Mackenzie, British Columbia, honorary matron of honour, Mrs. Annette Daily, twin sisteer of the bride. Bridesmaids were: Jackie Haymon of Edson and Lorna Farqurson of Edmonton. The junior bridesmaid was Cheryle Craigie of Edson. The groom's attendants were, acting bestman, Shawn Dalton of Goderic , honorary bestmen were Maurice L'Heureau of Mackenzie, B.C. and the groom's brothers Gary Courtney and Wayne Courtney of Dungannon.'Ushers were the groom's brothers Eric Courtney and Floyd Courtney of Dungannon and the bride's brother, Dennis Michaud. The flower girl and the train bearers were Carmen Michaud and Carl ,Courtney. The ring bearer was Ronald Michaud, brother of th'e bride. Approximately 135 guests were served a hot beef and ham dinner at the Edson Legion allfollowed by an open reception. Master of ceremonies was the bride's uncle, Mr. ,Maurice L'Houreau. Head table guests besides the wedding at- tendants were the bride's parents Mr, and Mrs. Emily Michaud of Edson; the groom's parents Mr. and Mrs. Joe Courtney of Dungannon; the bride's maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marcel L'Heureux of Jackfish Lake, Saskat- chewan and her paternal grandfather Mr. Paul Michaud of Leoville, Saskatchewan. Guests were present from Port Alberni, B.C.; Mackenzie, B.C.; Vancouver, 'B.C.; Spruce Grove, Alberta; Gungodo, Alberta; Edmonton, Alberta; Enderby, B.C.; Wildwood, Alberta; Jackfish Lake, Saskatchewan. Lloyd- minster, Saskatchewan; Morinville, Alberta; Langudo, Alberta; Leville, Saskatchewan; Goderich, Calgary, Alberta; Lucknow andDungannon. Relatives and friends of the bride and groom were invited to the gift opening on Sunday July 10 at noon at their new trailer homey Pgptar Place trailer court, Edson, Alberta. Lunch and refreshments were served. The young couple are spending their honeymoon in Ontario and are at presently visiting with his parents and family. A large crowd attending the reception for Mr. and Mrs. Brian Courtney held 'at the Saltford Valley Hall on Friday evening, July 15. Music for dancing was supplied by Southern Com- fort. Following the reception dancing continued at the home of. Mr. a,nd Mrs. Joe Courtney with music supplied by Russell and Nancy Swan and Mr. Basil Hogan. Special thanks to all who made this evening so enjoyable and for all the donations. Mr. and Mrs. Ambrose Redmond and family have moved to their new home at RR ,2 Auburn. They will be missed by this community. Mrs. Margaret Brazil and daughter Shelley of Mississauga spent Sunday, July 10 with Mr. and Mrs. Carl Riegling and visited with g g Ambrose and Barbara 'Riegling and family in their new home and also with Mr. and Mrs. Tom Hogan at Kingsbridge. He was 59 years of age. Before moving to Toronto in 1956, Mr. Bowler had lived at Kintail. (Ella) Ferris, Norma, Betty, Jane, Carol, Sharon, Bonnie, Elwood and Therese all of Toronto; two sisters Elizabeth and Mrs. J. Funeral service was conducted by the Reverend Father O'Neill on Saturday, July 9 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic church in Toronto.
