the hospital in Goderich and

Mr. Jack Errington has
been ill this past week.
Mr. Jack Smith, who was in
London hospital recently with
gall bladder trouble has been
convalescing at home for the
past three weeks an0.expects
to have to return to London
for surgery when the present
inflammation clears up.
Visitors on Sunday with Mr._
and Mrs...Jack Smith were
their daughter and son -in-
law, -Mr. and Mrs. Paul Byers
of Clinton. On Monday,
another daughter and son-in-
law, Mr. and Mrs. Gregory
Castrenis of Stratford visited
the Smiths.

Ingleside in the St:Lawrence
Seaway area and their
daughter and family, Mr. and
Mrs. William Blair and five
children of Ingleside set up
camp and visited with Mrs.

Christian Fellowship Church

congregation will be meeting Shelley Rivett et -the organ.
at Point Farms Provincial
Park for, the annual Sunday
School picnic. The service
begins at 10:30 a.m. and the
afternoon Will include fun and
games for all ages:
The picnic will conclude
the fpimily camping weekend
which starts on Friday, July
22 at 7:30 and endson Sunday
early enough to attend
community drive-in service
at 7:30 p.m. in Dungannon.

and music will be provided by

Missionary Church in
Listowel. He is -1 former
missionary who has preached
in Africa, and parts of South
and Central America. ,
It would be nice to see the
yard full of carloads of people
taking the opportunity to
receive inspiration in Word
and Songs on Sunday
evenings.
The annual Vacation Bible
School will be held August 1 to
5, 9 to 11:30 a.m. Kin-
dergarten to Grade 2 will
meet in the Dungannon
United Church, Grades 3-8 in
the Christian Fellowship
Church. Come and bring your
friends.
The girls from Christian
Fellowship Church had a
camp -out at Point Farms on
the weekend. The boys' group
met at Murray Martin's on
Sunday afternoon for
fellowship and recreation.
Rev. C.G. Westhaver
preached on the subject, The
Church's Concern about
Marilage at Sunday morning,
service at the Dungannon
United Church. The choir
contributed to the service
Sunday .services will
continue', on the "regular
schedule on Sundays, July 24
and 31 followed " by the
minister's . vacation in the
month of August.

A meeting of the Manse
Committee of Dungannon
United Church was held at the
manse on - Wednesday
evening. A motion was passed
to have new steps built at the
back sun porch and Harold
Errington was appointed to
look after this.
Since there was not a full
representation of members it
was decided to hold another
meeting early in October to
decide on the feasibility of
purchasing a new chester-
field, as the present one is
getting shabby.

was two readings given by
Mrs. Dorothy Pentland.

their flowers, scenes from
trips they have taken, and
many interesting views of
steam engines and horses

Match, some featuring local
people known by the viewers.
Mrs. Johnston thanked Mr.
and Mrs. McBride for sharing
their pictures and presented
each of them Nmith a gift.
The Nile .ladies served a
delicious lunch and a social
time was enjoyed.
