Mr. Earl McNee, Mrs. Mary Bere and Jamie visited Mr. and Mrs. John' Bere and family London on Sunday. 1)UNGANNON CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP CHURCH The Young People from Dungannon Christian Fellowship Church spent the past Weekend camping at Point Farm Provincial Park. The weekend was filled • with fun and excitement. One of the highlights was when the girls were settling down on Friday night .and ;discovered a mouse in their tent. No injuries were" suffered, just m inor--fright. On Saturday evening the young people planned ac- tivities for the Sunday School picnic which will be held on Sunday, July. 24 atPoint Farms at the conclusion of a family camp -out. Student -Pastor Doug Zehr. preached the sermon at Sunday morning service in the Christian Fellowship Church. The message was the '•third in a series on Colossians, "The Mystery - Christ in You." On Sunday eyening at the Drive-in Service on Peter Martin's farm the gospel music was provided by The Last Command, a group from Glen Allan. Pastor . Zehr delivered the spoken word with a • message entitled, "Changing the Human Condition." Everyone is invited to attend next Sunday evening at 7:30 when The Ambassadors from Listowel will sing and the Rev. James Stanley of Listowel, will bring the message. Come out and be challenged by the gospel in music and word, in the comfort of your car. Summer Bible Vacation School is being held the first week of August. DUNGANNON UNITED - CHURCH Rev. The secretary - treasurer, Mrs. Harry Girvin, read the minutes and financial report. $380.00 was realized on the quilt and afghan draw. Mrs. Jack Clements sub- mitted her resignation as first vice'president, and Mrs. George -Errington has been asked to move from second vice to fill this office. Several members attended Citizens Court in Goderich in Court House Park on Tuesday and were very impressed with this • service. Curators are having a day long meeting - in. Goderich on August 2, 9:30 a.m. and each 'Branch is asked to bring two dozen cookies. (Dungannon Branch of W.I. are making plans to host the October meeting of Huron County Historical Society with Mrs. Graham McNee and Mrs. Fred Young in charge of program. October 12 is the suggested date. Home and Country magazines were distributed and collection received, then the picnic contests were resumed, using a vegetable, and a flower contest, and card bingo, also -several spot prizes. Interesting prizes were given to the various winners. Following the contests all enjoyed a delicious -smorgasbord meal under the beautiful shade trees. The president expressed" cour- tesies to the hostess, and to the Branch Directors, Mrs. Russel Alton, Mrs. George Errington and Mrs. Gordon Finnigan for another suc- cessful picnic.
