DEATH OF MRS. DAV S.
An estimable Exeter woman passed
away an «Monday atternoon, April llth,
at Victoria Hosp:tal, London, whenthe
death ,occurred of Sarah Lowe, wife
of .Richard Davie, pt ,the age of fad
years, Deceased had, been in illhealth
for five, years from neuritis, and far
the wast nine months bad. been ser
iously 311. Since, Christmas she had
bean confined to.,her bed at her .home
here, unta removed to Victoria Hos-
pital six weeks ago. While in thc.hos-
pital ;she underwieelt an ,operation for
appendicitis, but her condition -was so
weakened that retrot^ery was slow,
and last \\ ednesday she developed
tonsilitis, and the poison spreading
through her system leer death resulted
as stated. Bon at Hurondale, Us
bonne Township., she resided there
until as a young .warraan she went to
Stephen, ham., and sevtenteen., years
ago ,she maucied her now bereaved
husband. Since her marriage she had
resided in Exeter. She was highly
respected and esteemed, and sincere
sympathy is felt s£or air. Davis, De-
ceased was a member of Trivitt tlem-
oriel Church and was a Rebecca Odd_
fellow. She took an tractive interest
in church work. Besides the hus-
band she is survived by her aged mo-
ther who. resides at Warroad, Minn.,
four sisters, Mrs. Murray of War-
road,
arroad, Mrs.. McLennan of New Mexico,
lairs. Roberts of Lumbrick, Alta., Mrs.
Thos. Darnall of Outlook, Sask., and
one brother George `of British Ccl-
umbia. Mrs, Murray and Mrs, Dayman

remains were brought here on Mon-.
day 'evening, and the funeral after seer-
vice at 2.60 in Tr.vitt Memorial Church
will take place to Exeter cemetery on
