The Rev. Robert and Mrs.
Bisset will return to Goderich
and to Knox Presbyterian
Church for Sunday, July 3,
the first Sunday in the Jubilee
3 Celebration.
Robert Bisset is the son of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bisset,
153 Warren Street, and Mrs.
Bisset is the former Eunice
Milne of town, •daughter of the
late Mr. and Mrs. James 13.
Milne.
In 1955 Robert Bisset was
ordained to the Ministry of
the Presbyterian Church in
Canada at a Service in Knox
Church conducted by the
Presbytery of Huron -
Maitland. After Ordination
Eunice , and Bob 'Bisset'
travelled . to Three Hills,
Alberta, where they
ministered until June 1960
when called to Avonton,
Ontario, near Stratford.
In this present year the
Rev. Robert Bisset accepted
a Call to - St. James
Presbyterian Church, Forest.
Mr. Bisset also has la sister
residing in Goderich; Mrs.,
Bruce Mansz, Elgin Avenue,
East. The $issets have seven
children, Janet, Mary Jane,
Bob, Margot, Peter, Sandra
and Alex.
While in Avonton Mr. and
Mrs. Bisset were very active
in the work of the Stratford
Boychoir, the YM -YWCA and
the Western Ontario Branch
of the Canadian Bible Society.
Mr. Bisset is a former
Moderator and Clerk of the
Stratford Presbytery. rr
In his off-duty hours Bob
enjoys his cabin in a clearing.

Bisset attended the'
University of Toronto and
graduated in Theology from
Presbyterian College,
Montreal.
It is a fortuitous occasion
for both Eunice and Bob
Bisset as Goderich is their
home. They will look forward
to participating in the Jubilee
3 festivities, meeting .and
seeing old friends and being a
part of the worship in their
home -church, Knox.
Eunice Bisset has three
sisters and two brothers, of
which one brother, Brownie,.
is a Presbyterian Minister in
Calgary.
An interesting soloist is
returning to Goderich for this
Jubilee Sunday In the perspn
of • Edward Castledine of•
Toronto. During World War II
Mr. Castledine was stationed
at port Albert as part of the
Commonwealth Training
Scheme. !Ie now resides in
Toronto and is much in
demand as a church soloist.
