teams met up with a stiff wall •
of competition last- week
dropping four of the five
games played.
The Bantams travelled to
Sarnia / to meet the Sarnia
Junior Bs. Goderich struck
first early in the game but
Sarnia bounced back to tie the
score. Gnslerich took the lead
once more to end the first half
with a 2-1 score. However. in
the second half Sarnia scored
the unanswered goals to win

Last weekend the Goderich
- Sailing Club held a "cruise to
Bayfield" in which some 6
keel boats took part. Most of
the boats left Goderich
harbour on Saturday af-
ternoon and took nearly four
hours tO beat their way into a
stiff southerly breeze to
Bayfield. courtesy of the
Bayfield Yacht Club, and
then raced back to Goderich
on Sunday morning. With the
same Southerly breeze, the
return trip took just over two
hours for most of the boats.
Results of this race are;
FIRST: Ken Dawson in an
ABBOTT 22, SECOND: Sam
James in a CATALINA 32,
THIRD: Ralph Smith in a
TANZER 22. Thanks for the
organizing, Paul. We look
forward to the next organized
cruise.
In the centerboard races
held Sunday results are:
FIRST: Dave Parsons,
third and Simon Langlois hit
a two out single to bring him
in from second. Ray Volland
moved Langlois to third with
a single and an error allowed
him to score.

hits and three walks.
Kellough started the inning
off with a double and McCabe
beat out an error to move him
to third. Draper pushed both
runs over with a shot out of
the park and Brian
MacKenzie added one more
before the Sports retired the
