THURSDAY, JUNE 16, 1977 attended the 222nd spring convocation at Alumni Hall at the University of Western Ontario, London, June 8 when their daughter, Bonnie Ann, received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. It was a very enjoyable and happy day for those concerned. Bonnie has accepted a teaching position at the Holmesville School_ Thos of the community would like to congratulate Bonnie and wish her all the best at the Holmesville School. 25th Wedding Anniversary The family of Irene and olmesville couple e :arksilver anniversary Jean and Clarence Perdue Earl Heipel held a dinner -at the Mill, Benmiller in honour of their parents 25th wedding anniversary, June 4. After the dinner, the family returned to 'their parents home where everyone en- joyed an evening of fun. On Saturday evening June 11, an anniversary mass was sung by Father Hardy, at St. Joseph's Church, Clinton. The men's choir sang during the mass led by Seamus Doherty. The reader was Kay Sharpe and the organist was Mrs. Bonnie Jewett. Later a reception was held at the Clinton Legion Hall where many Guests joined Mr. and Mrs., Heipel in celebrating their anniversary. Taking care of stow, Formosa, Mildmay, and Ottavo, An enjoyable evening of dancing to the Truetones was spent. More articles were brought in on the day of the meeting. Mrs. Maizie Gliddon led in prayer to close the meeting. He is top point holder at Fan- shawe Cartways in his class. Bradley travelled to Georgetown Sunday and did very well against top drivers of Ontario in sanctioned racing. Bradley received a trophy last Wednesday night in London for top points of the night in his class. Bus Trip The Goderich Township Women's Institute are planning a busy trip to Park - wood McLaughlin Estates, June 28. It is open to anyone. UCW Meeting The 4.1CW of Holrnesville United Church met in the Sunday school room on Tuesday June 7 with Mrs. Wilmer Potter presiding.
