Fisher Builders made it two
in a row Sunday night when
they shut out Gord's Sports 3-
0 in Industrial Softball action.
Fred Pellow got the win on a
three hitter but Gord's pit-
cher Des Courtney was stingy
giving up only four hits in the
losing effort.
Dennis LeBrun grabbed
half the Builder hits and
scored two runs on the. night.
He singled in the fifth to
tireak a scoreless tie when he
moved to third on John Hoy's
sacrifice and scored on an
on a McWhinney single and
MacDonald scored after he
had stolen second.
McWhinney was the winner
giving up no hits and fanning
two while loser John
Crawford and reliever Doug
Stoll combined for the loss

inning of the game.

row for the Bowlers who
started the season off with
five consecutive wins.
The Bowlers jumped to a
short lived two run lead in the
second when Dave Patterson
singled and moved to third on
a single by Rob Snell. Terry
Powell forced a Pontiac error
that allowed two runs to score
before John Crawford popped
up to end the inning.
The Pontiacs came back in
the bottom of the inning to tie
the game. Russ Pruder and
Ken Meriam singled and
1Wayne Doak stepped into two
RBIs with a double.
Paul Kelly provided the,
winning touch in the fourth
with a two run double. Pruder
singled to lead off the inning
and 'two errors left Meriam
and John Phillips on base and
Pruder at home Kelly
slammed the double and gave
the Pontiacs a 5-2 lead.
Terry Powell scored the
final Bowler run in the fifth
but the Pontiacs held on to the.
win. John Crawford took the
loss giving up nine hits while
„winner Rick Sowerby was
tagged half a dozen times.
