Anson McKinley 'RR 1 Zurich, Ontario Progessive Conservative Party,* To Mississauga White potted mums and apple blossoms decorated St. Joseph's Church -at Kingsbridge on May 14 at 3 p.m. for the double ring wedding ceremony in which Bruce Pritchard took Ann Marie Dalton as his bride. The bride is the daughter of Mrs: Mark Dalton of Kingsbridge. The groom,. is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ted Pritchard of Mississauga. • Father Ed Dentinger officiated at the ceremony. Organist was Miss Marianne Frayne. Marianne and Eugene Frayne sang. The bride was given in marriage by her Godfather, .leseph O'Brien of Goderich. She wore a white polyester satin gown with an empire waistline and lace cuffs. The gown featured a scoop neckline with lace insert and stand up collar. Over the gown -she wore a tulle hooded cape trimmed with blue and white lace. She carried white carnations with yellow roses and baby's breath, Maid of honor was Denise Dalton, sister of the bride of Guelph. She wore an ankle length flowered gown of swiss dot in sky blue. The dress featured a wide sash with large bow and dress length panels. She wore a matching pic- ture hat. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Al Beke of Mississauga and Bridget, Jackie and Maria Dalton all of Kingsbirdge. They were gowned identically to the maid of honor. • , Groomsman was Chris Graham of Cambridge. Ushers were Al Beke of Mississauga, Jerry Bowland of Montreal and Paul Dalton of Kingsbridge. Following the wedding, a reception was held, at the brideas home at RR 3, Goderich. The home was decorated with blue and white table cloths, blue candles and apple blossoms. The bride's mother greeted,Attests .43. a floor length princess line gown of azure blue crepe. The gown featured a finger length jacket with lace trim on the sleeves. She wore a corsage of gardenia and stephanotis. The groom's mother wore a floor length dusty rose polyester dress belted with a bow in front. Her corsage was a gardenia and stephanotis. For a wedding trip to Helen, Georgia, the bride changed to a two piece, street le,ngths suit of blue and - white striped double knit polyester. Prior to her wedding the bride was feted at several showers. Debi Graham, friend of the bride, gave a shower for friends and relatives in Mississauga. Janice Foran and Mary Van Rooy, friends of the bride, hosted a community shower in Kingsbridge. Mrs, Shirley Pickett, aunt of the groom, gave a shower in Huttonville. Two queens were crowned at the May Ball held by the Beta Sigma Phi sorority onlMay 28„ Here, left to.right, are Alison Paolin, Sharron Moore, Anne Kuran and Barb Moss. Mrs. Paolin crowned Mrs. Moore for the Ritual of the Jewels Chapter, Beta Theta and Mrs, Moss crowned Mrs. Kuran for the Exemplar Chapter, Xi Delta Epsilon. Martha greets guests On May 28, the sorority of Beta Sigma Phi held its annual May Ball at the White Carnation. A lively and entertaining evening of music was provided by Chris BlaCk and his Swinging Brass. Each couple was greeted at the door by Martha Rathburn, Sorority Advisor and the women received pretty cor- sages. 2. Jack R ddell RR 1 Hay, Ontario Liberal Party * The highlight of the dance was the crowning of the queens. The queen for the Exemplar Chapter, Xi Delta Epsilon, Anne Kuran was crowned by Barb Moss. Sharron Moore was crowned by Alison Paolin for the Ritual of Jewels Chapter, Beta Theta. The Clintcin' Christian Reformed volun- teers assisted with activities. The residents were en- tertained on Family Night with a puppet show, "No Strings Attached", The theme of the show was the story of Jack and The Bean Stalk and was directed by Cheryl Smith assisted by .Richard Keelan and Denny Garcia. `The Huronview Auxiliary had a very successful spring tea and bake sale on Wed- nesday afternoon.
