Celebrate 67 years ofmarriage
Mr. and Mrs. John Pitblado celebrated
their 67th wedding anniversary at
Maitland Matior on Monday, June 6.
They are the only married couple living
at Maitland Manor.
Mr. and Mrs. Pitblado who both came
to Canada from Scotland were married
in the Benmiller Presbyterian Church in
1910. Mrs, 'Pitblado is the former
Christine Liddell.
The Pitblados moved from Benmiller
to Goderich where Mr. Pitblado worked
at the Goderich glevators for several
years. They have three children, Mrs.
John (Margaret), Hallam of Auburn,
Mrs. Janette McWhinney of Kitchener
and Jack of St. Catharines. Another
daughter, Mrs. Bill (Winnie) Stephens of
Kitchener died.
The Pitblados also have 12 grand-
children, 24 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchirdren.
On . Sunday, June 5, Mr. Pitblado
celebrated his 91st birthday. Mrs Pit-
blado is 89.
