IFI'i-RFY 1NME5 WILKINSON Jeffrey James Wilkinson, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William R. Wilkinson of- Canton, New York died on May 24. He was the grandson of Mrs. Evelyn Wilkinson and Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Etue of Goderich. MR. FMMERSON ERB -a Emerson Erb died on May 20 at Alexandra Marine and General Hospital. He was 61. He was -born' in Hay Township on September 30, 1915 to Lydia (Beckler) end Christian Erb. On April 15, 1935 he married ' Anna Gingerich in Breslau. They lived in Hay Township until moving to Goderich in 1963. Mr. Erb was a member of the Zurich Mennonite Church. He was residing at 210 Walnut Street in Goderich. He is survived by his wife; three sons, Lewis, Paul and Allen all of Goderich; three daughters, Mrs. John (Marion) Steckle of Dash- wood, Mrs. Robert N. (Nancy) McKinley of Zurich and Mrs. Paul (Susan) Corriveau ..of Godexidlt`t°. ifte :yR+. sister, Mrs. Irvin (Afie'e) Gingerich of Zurich; two brothers, Leonard of Hensall and Albert of Zurich and 11 grandchildren. Funeral service was held on Monday, May 23 at 2 p.m. at the Zurich Mennonite Church. The Rev. Clayton Kuepfer conducted the s_er- vice. Interment' was in the Mennonite cemetery on the Goshen Line. Pallbearers were Lee, Harold, Richard and Doug Erb, Ken Steckle and Jim Gingerich. Flowerbearers were Jim Hayter, Archie Hamilton, Frank Skelton and Campbell McKinley. PERIOR MORTALS. AND MRS: FRANK -HAWKINS The Hawkins family honored their parents, Frank and Mabel, with a reception held at the Legion Hall, Goderich on May 20, 1977. About 200 relatives,neighbors and friends attended the supper and dance to congratulate the couple and wish them many more happy years. - Frank and Mabel Hawkins were married on May 25, 1927 in Kincardine Township at the home of the bride, the former Mabel Glahn. They took over the Hawkins' fartltily farm at Shen pardton and farmed for 28 years before moving to Goderich where Mr. Hawkins was employed at the Sheaffer Pen Company for a number of years. They reside at L78 Keays Street. Mr. and Mrs. Hawkins have two daughters, Mrs. Elaine Pinder of Exeter; Mrs. Marie Holmes of Toronto and one son Jim who lives on the family farm near Goderich. C.W.L. at St. Peter's Church, Goderich. Adrian Keit, a farmer from Wingham. area, and past president of the Voice for Life, Wingham completed his 350 mile walk to Ottawa in 17 days, arriving in time for the Festival for Life which was ...,held May 5 to 7. Adrian was greeted on his arrival by the deputy mayor of Ottawa, Marion Dewar and Pro Life members. During his walk Adrian had only one slightly unpleasant incident. He is convinced that the majority, of people are opposed to the liberalization of the abortion law. 'Adrian was interviewed on T.V. and on radio in Ottawa and by CKNX since returning home. , Adrian constantly reminds people that he is not just anti -abortion, he is Pro Life.
