Kaitting. • WEDDING ANNIVERSARY On Saturday evening May 28; 46 relatives and friends gathered in Colborne Township Hall, Carlow to honour Mr. and Mrs, Worthy Fowler, RR5, on their 35th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Fowler were married in Auburn and were attended by the brides niece, Eileen McClinchey now _Mrs, George Haggitt and Mr. Robert Medd. They have two children, a son Donald who with his wife and family live at Glen Williams, Ontario and a daughter Elaine , Mrs. Lyle Brown of Goderich. The evening was spent visiting and playing cards. The lucky ladies were Mrs. Lillian McClinchey, Blyth and Mrs. Elma" McFarlane, Auburn and the lucky men were Mr. Robert Medd, Goderich and John McClinchey, Belgrave. , The happy couple responded to a com- plimentary toast by the son and received gifts,. money, telegrams and many best wishes from their friends. Clark and family visited in Wroxeter on Sunday when they celebrated the birthday of one year old Jennifer Gibson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gibson of Gorrie. Mr. and Mrs. John Pat- terson of Seaforth visited Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Kaitting on Sunday. We are sorry to report Mr. John Wilson, RR5, is a patient in Alexandra Hospital, Goderich, and his many friends wish him a speedy recovery. Leader Mrs. Lois Wylde kePt the girls well occupied with morning watch, crafts, swimming, hiking, games, sing -songs, campfire and creative ac- tivities (impromptu skits). The girls had vesper ser -- vices at a secluded spot on the beach and on Sunday mor- ning the Rev. Ralph King conducted a worship service and presented the members with their world friendship badges.
