runs to give the Steelers a 3-1
lead. Miller made it 4-1 in the
fifth with his second home run

Bowlers grab five
in first for win
A five run first inning was
all Little Bowl needed to grab
a 7-4 win off Gord's Sports in
Industrial Softball action
Sunday. The Bowlers hit
through the order in their
first trip to the plate and
came away with five runs and
what turned out to be a win.
Charlie Crawford started
the burst with a lead off single
and moved to second on a
sacrifice by Mike Wildgen. A
wild pitch moved him to third
and he scored on a single by
Glen Falkiner. Bill Black
slammed a triple off third
baseman Jim Ginn to score
Falkiner and then scored
himself on Dave Patterson's
single. Ron -Ritchie singled to
keep the drive going and then
stole second. Ken Doherty
singled Patterson home and
Ritchie scored on a fielder's
choice to end the scoring at
five.
The Sports chipped away at
the Bowler lead scoring once
in the third, • twice .in the
fourth and* once in the.
seventh. Bob Riehl doubled in
the third inning and scored on
a single by Phil Petrie.. Chip
Wilson singled to lead off the

For the past 19 months Shirley Weary has watched with pride the impact
