Easter setting
for wedding
Easter was the setting for a double ring wedding
ceremony at the First Baptist Church in Prince George,
British Columbia on Saturday April 16.
Debora Ann McLane, daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Franklin McLane of Prince George became the bride of
Kenneth Wettlaufer, son of Mrs. Margaret Wettlaufer of
Goderich ti
Reverend Lancelot Morgan conducted the afternoon
ceremony: Mrs. Lancelot Morgan sang Wither Thou
Goest and The Wedding Prayer. "She was accompani,e,d,
by Mrs. Jean Dunlap.
The bride was given in marriage - by her father, She
wore a white satin A-line waisted gown. She carried a
bouquet of red roses and white carnations.
Maid of honour was Denise McLane of Prince George.
She wore a gown of pale yellow organdy and carried
yellow,and white daisies.

Flowergirl was Nicole Esslanger of Prince George.
She also wore a gown of pale yellow organdy and carried
yellowand white daisies.
Best man was James Klaffe of Prince. George. Ushers
were Bruce and Brad McLane both of Prince George..
Stephen Henderson was ringbearer.
The Connaught Inn of British Columbia was decorated
in yellow and white for the reception following the
wedding, Reg Steward was the master of ceremonies.
The bride's mother welcomed guests in a salmon
chiffon gown. Shd wore a corsage of yellow and white
flowers. The groom's mother chose a floral crepe gown
and a matching corsage of yellow and white flowers.
For a wedding trip to Stuart Lake, British Columbia,
the bride changed to a blue pantsuit.
The couple will reside in Prince George, British
Columbia.
Prior to the wedding, the bride was feted at several
miscellaneous showers as well as a shower hosted by the
Adult Fellowship of the First Baptist Church and one
hosted by the Pioneer Girls Club of the First Baptist
Church of which she is leader.

presented two girls with iheir tenderfoot pins last Thursday
night for their enrolment into the first Ranger company of
Goderich. The girls are Janet Gardner (left) and Marlene
McDougall. The Ranger company has only been in
existence for one year and is looking for new recruitments.
Any interested girls between the ages of 14 and 18 are asked
