He was 72, He was born in St. Joseph's, Ontario on September 9, 19Q4 to Mary.Ann (McCann) and James Overholt, He lived in Goderich as a child, moved to Detroit for many years and then returned to Goderich. He worked as a lathe operator in the • Cadillac Division of General Motors in Detroit. He was a member of the U.A.W,. Retired Workers of Local 22 of Detroit.. He was a member of St, Peter's Roman Catholic Church. He was married to Mary Zimmer who survives Also surviving are his children, Mrs. Guy (Geraldine) Sluder of -Munroe, Michigan; Beverly and Lawrence John Overholt and James Overholt. all of Detroit; and three sisters, Mrs. Wesley (Anna) Coxan of Zurich, Mrs. Maizie Sloan of Toronto and Mrs. Bella Turnbull, of Parkhill, Funeral service was held Thursday, April 28 at Stiles Funeral Home. Rev, Fr, R. Moynahan conducted the service. The body rested at St. Peter's Church. Interment was in Maitland Cemetery.
