March 20th was truly- an
evening for the unexpected.
The battle was on for first
place with two teams in
contention, the Lamb Chops
and the Executive Sweets.
The Hits and Misses, John
and Mary Bissett, Wayne and
Melanie Swan and Jim and
Darlene Fielder were really.,
knocking them down against
Glen Lamb's "Lamb Chops"
and succeeded in capturing
all seven points.
A couple of alleys away the
Oh Oh'sRuth and Ken Oketi:
Grant and Sandra Curran and.
Hermie and Aisla Fisher
were knocking themselves
out against- the Executive
Sweets, Ben and Helen
Straughan,' Tom and Nancy
Willis and Lyall and Karin
Mabon. The Sweets had luck
on their side and also a total
of 3303 pins to give them 3
winning games and a grand
total of 42 points for first
place.
March 27 was Playoff night
for all and an even chance for
victory. The highest team
average was Jack .Thom's
Country Bumpkins at 1038.
Each team takes their
handicap from the highest
team's average. And so . it
happens, the team with the
highest. average came first,
Jack Thom had a• -triple of 812
and led his teammates
Leone, Ross and Frankie
Hillier, Bob Cornish and
Doreen Willis to the top, total
3325.
Second place with 3271 was

Saturday. Tom Allen of

Bornholm, each shot 22 birds
to tie for third.
