Dungannon 4-H club opened
their fourth meeting with the
4-H pledge followed by the
roll call. The minutes of the
last meeting were read by
Annabelle Stewart.
Secretary -press reporter for
this week is Sharon Sproul.
Achievement Day is to be
held at Brookside Public
School on June 4. The topic
for discussion and demon-
stration was Trims.
For group work each
member completed a sample
of lace applied by hand on

meeting will be held at the
home of Mrs. Jean Errington
on March 29 at 7 p.m.
Dungannon 2 4-H club held
a work meeting for the junior
members on Thursday at the
home of Mrs. Doris Culbert.

Calf club organized

The Dungannon and
Lucknow 4-H Calf Club's
organization meeting was
held March 24 at 8:00 p.m. in
the Brookside Public School.
After an hour of games Len
MacGregor explained the
different purposes of the 4-H
program and the events of the
coming year after which the
clubs divided into separate
groups. -
the two clubs picked the
officials for the following
year.
The Dungannon executive

Lucknow U.C.W. invites the
congregation to attend a
presentation of the Easter
drama "Lo, I Am with you
alway," in the church' san-
ctuary on April 5 and 6 at
8:15. This is the, story of 11
Biblical women and the
impact of Jesus on their lives.
The U.C.W. request
donations of, good used
clothing, dishes or shoes to be
left in the furnace room by
April 20 to be packed -in a
bale.
The Dungannon U.C.W.
meeting was held on March 21
at the home of Emily
Drennan. The meeting was in
charge of Gloria Pearson and
Jean Errington who
presented a skit, "An
Interview with St. Peter".
Irene Logtenberg entertained
the ladies with a piano solo.
A motion was made by
Gloria Pearson, seconded by
Ruby Finnigan and approved
by all that 100 copies of the
letter - "Universal Code
System" for pricing con-
sumer goods be printed and
distributed in the community.
Good used clothing, shoes,
and dishes for the bale are to
be left in the furnace room
until April 20 when the bale
will be packed.
An invitation was read
from Lucknow U.C.W. in-
viting the ladies to their
Easter drama on April 5.
The ladies discussed two
events coming up to which
they are catering, a wedding
in May and the graduation
banquet in June.
