THU Goderich club The Goderich Figure Skating Club competed at the annual Inter -Club competition in Mitchell on Mar. 6th with three of the Club's skaters coming away with bronze medals. (News -Record photo) The Goderich Figure Skating Club held its monthly meeting on Tuesday March 8th at the home of the president Mrs. Ellen Jeffrey. The minutes of the last meeting were read by the secretary Nancy Flynn and Chess honors down to wire With only one week left in points. In Level 4 play Mark Jones has moved within i points of taking third spot from Ron Vanderlinde. , Another thing that comes to mind this time of year is the most improved player award. This is decided by calculating which player raised his percentage by the most points. We find that there is a very close three way race for this award. The contest between these two teams was so close, not counting the handicap, there was only 27 pins separating the win for the Sweets of five points. Tied for third with the Simple Six is Jack Thom's "County Bumpkins". Leona Thom helped her team by bowling high triple of 624. Misses".
