goalie Gerry Gaynor. The teams tied the first game of the
series 2-2 and Glanbrook won the second game 9-1 Sunday to
take a lead in the quarter final series. (staff photo)
Rob Trebish of the Goderich Bantam Stellers was foiled on
this breakaway by the Glanbrook goalie. Goderich won the
game 9-2 Saturday to win the best -of -three series two

only game of the evening to
hold onto third spot. This was

putting him in a tied position
with Jim Kingsley who won

also.
I3ob Dick has a slim lead
over Jim Kingsley for the last
top Level position while Brian
Miller is in the thick of things
only another 6 points back.

for third place in Level 2
between Doug Brindley
(.569), Don Bogie (.553) and

board first when Tom O'Brien
finished off a play put
together by Barry Bloch and
Ron Whetstone. The lead was
shortlived however and
Centralia came back three
minutes later" and grabbed
the equalizer. Jim McGee
beat Duckworth on a one on
one and gave Centralia a tie
to take to the dressing room.
Walter Lantz put Centralia
on top to stay early in the
second with an unassisted
effort with just over two
minutes gone in the period,

a second goal and a tie at 9:03
when Mark Ryan scored with
help from John Hoy and Greg
Hansen.

unanswered goals. Walter
Lantz got his second of the
game with help from Roy
Walker and Brad Speirs. With
just over six minutes left to go

breakaway and his second
unassisted goal to end the
