mention and what needs to be
highlighted in any discussion
of the abortion question is the
utter inadequacy of existing
facilities to support women
who are experiencing
problem pregnancies.
Instead of the psychological,
financial arid social backup
women need to carry through
a pregnancy and raise a child
they are offered the cheap,
easy but inhumane solution of
abortion.
Instead of focusing ex-
clusively on the availability
of abortion the Badgley
Report should have con-
sidered the positive, non-
destructive alternatives to it.
