DEATH OF MRS; :MACDON'ALD.
Relatives here received word ,on
Monday evening of the death that
night at her home in Guelph, of a for-
mer Exeter woman, Susie Weekes;
wife sof Evan. A elacdonzt1d, at the
ate of 50 years. Deceased had been
ell ,for twt* weeks of pneumonia, and
for several days her life had been •dis.-
patred of, although her prolonged ill-
ness gave some slight hope that she
would ultimately throw off the dread
disease, but it ends ;not to be, Some
few years ago she was i,11 of the same
disease, but she had fully recovered.
Born in London she came to Exeter
with hes parents when a child, and
resided here untie her marriage some
twenty yeers ago, since which she
bad-esid•ed in Guelph. Deceased was
a woman of high personal qualities,
respected and esteemed by all, and
the inewe of her demise came as a
se' ere shock to her relatives and many
friends in town. The sincere sym
aathy of all is extended to the be-
reaved. She is survived by her hus-
band, one son and one daughter of
Guelph, one brother, James Weekes
and three sisters of Exeter, Mrs. H.
Spackman, 'Misses Annie and. Minnie
Weekes, and a brother. George of
Cincinnati, Oh:,o. The funeral will
take place to the Guelph cemetery.
Miss Alay Jones spent a day for
two in London last week.
