Jim Hunter, Ashfield Township Road Superin- tendent and Councillor John Austin attended the Good Roads Convention held at the Royal York Hotel in Toronto on Monday and Tuesday, February 21 and 22. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sinnett and Tim 0 -Brien are spen- ding this week in Alpena, Michigan. Mr. and Mrs. Art Bowler and family of Stratford are vacationing at the Sinnett residence. IN�SBRIDGE KAPERS: Mrs. Jot Goartaey 529.1189 27„ ,Simon and Jerry Logten- berg, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Derk Logtenberg were thrown from the snowmobile they were riding when they ran into a barbed wire fence on their property on Tuesday evening, February 15th. They were treated at the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital in Goderich and released. Jerry received a few stitches to the lip and a bloody nose while Simon suffered a broken jaw and scratches to his chest. Simon was admitted to the University Hospital on Wednesday where an operation to wire the jaw was performed on the following day. He was able to return to his home here on Saturday, February 19. Mrs. Robert Howard was a patient in the Alexandra Marine and General Hospital, Goderich from Tuesday, February 8th until Wed- nesday, February 16th. Vincent Austin, a patient in the University Hospital, London for the past 11 days was able to return to his home here on Friday, February 18. Reverend Father Ed Dentinger, C.R. pastor of St. Joseph's church at Kingsbridge and Reverend Father Clarence Hauser, C.R. of Kitchener returned on Thursday, February , 17th from a three week vacation in Florida.
