Southern press, and we didn't
lose touch with one another
until his passing.
A lot of this is of course of
little interest to you but had to
find some way of identifying
myself.

Why has the price per unit
dose remained the same in
the, United States when the
exact same processes are
used to produce insulin there
as in Canada? It could well be
ifriFtly attributed to the fact,
that in the USA there are in
excess of 220,000,000 citizens
while Canada has something
like 23,000,000r 'It Is the old
rule of supply and demand.
But still, the - recent in-
crease in the price of. insulin
is not in accordance with AIB
guidelines. Is this Still
another case where what is
sauce for the' goose is not
necessarily sauce for the
• gander? Are there different
rules for government
operated firms? And is this
really fair to the average
Canadian citizen who is
struggling to keep body and
soul together?
