pot -luck supper. Margaret
Templeton was initiated in
the Auxiliary. Officers gave
yearly reports.

in the Legion Lounge on

SPECIAL LICENCES RE: SNOW VEHICLES (Con-
tinued from last column)
The only information we have been able to obtain on
the special licences for snowmobiiers for 12 years of age
',and up, is that it is effective March 1, 1977. Anyone in-
terested in obtaining this licence contact your local
snowmobile club.
PERMITS
The owner of a motorized snow vehicle shall not drive
the motorized snow vehicle or tause or perrnit the
motorized snow vehicle to -'be ;driven except under the
authority of a permit for the motorized snow vehicle
issued or validated or except on lands occupied by the
owner of the motorized snow vehicle.

painted on both sides of the cowling in a clearly visible
position a sign showing the registration number of the -114-
motorized '
.snow ' vehicle , in the' form and manner
prescribed in the regulations.

registration number required to be' displayed shall be
kept free of dirt, 'snow and,iee; and in good repair, and the
view thereof shall not be obscured or obstructed by any
part of the' motorized snow vehicle or any equipment or
attachment thereon or by the load carried thereon .
The registration 'number of a motorized snow vehicle
attached to or painted on both sides' of the cowling shall
be' in the form and dimensions as prescribed) by the
regulations as'follows: .
—The rear limit of the registration number to be no less
•
than four inches nor more than six inches from the rear
of the cowling.
Height not less than two inches nor more than three

—Width of the numbers are not to -be less than one-
quarter
Inch nor more than one-half inch.
